Raw Food Chef and Landmark Education graduate Mehmet Ak first participated in the Landmark Forum in 2001. At the time he weighed nearly 250 lbs and was in poor health. Through his participation in the Landmark Forum and other Courses at Landmark Education he re-invented himself and his business. A successful chef for many years, Mehmet became inspired to tackle his health and lifestyle. He was invited to take a raw food detox by a friend and over the course of the next few months he lost nearly 90 lbs. The results were no remarkable, he took on the re-invention of his entire restaurant. He removed all of the ovens and grills and replace them with coolers and began Cousin’s IV raw food restaurant. The name Cousin’s IV is significant in several ways. In Turkish culture, everyone is in someway considered a cousin to you. This is his fourth restaurant and most importantly IV stands for incredible vitality and that is the message that Mehmet most wants to share with the people who visit Cousin’s IV. In the time since Mehmet made this change, Cousin’s IV has become a nationally recognized raw food restaurant and is at the center of an ever growing community of people who are transforming their health and lifestyles.
